Why is the world’s biggest food market changing?
The world’s largest food market is about to change and will likely mean more innovation in the market.
The US-based company, CropBasket, is currently planning to launch a food-grade, blockchain-based product in 2018.
The new product will be able to provide a more secure, reliable and cost-effective food supply chain to consumers, with an aim to provide an entirely digital, tamper-proof food supply.
CropBaskets aims to replace traditional warehouse-based food distribution networks.
The company plans to offer a wide range of food products, from frozen and dehydrated meats, to produce, to raw milk, to dairy products, to food packaging and packaging accessories.
The product will feature a new, blockchain based blockchain system that can be built on a number of different technology stacks.
In a new patent filed on Monday, Cipro claims to have successfully developed a “networked warehouse-grade food supply system”.
The company is not the first to attempt a blockchain-powered food supply network.
Earlier this year, the company introduced a product that is based on the same concept, with the goal of reducing logistics costs and reducing environmental impacts.
A year ago, Cargill unveiled a similar product called Food Chain, which aims to bring its food supply and distribution system to a wider audience.
The company has also been in talks with other companies to create an app-based system to deliver food to consumers.
