‘The Kitchen’ stars, actors and directors to take part in an event for children and families on March 5, 2019
The cooking, travel and shopping events on the first day of the Lunar New Year will feature chefs, chefs and chefs, as well as celebrity guests, including Chef Dave Chappelle and the chef of the hit cooking show “MasterChef.”
The event is being promoted by The Kitchen, the nonprofit group dedicated to improving the lives of children in India, India’s largest democracy.
“The Kitchen’s goal is to inspire and support children, especially in the face of extreme poverty,” said Rajiv K. Pandey, executive director of The Kitchen.
The event will be hosted by the Indian Council of Agriculture, Food Research Institute, The Kitchen and The Hindu Group, along with The Kitchen’s culinary team, which includes Chappell and Chef Kunal Bahl.
It will include the cooking and shopping activities of Indian Chef Meghna and the cooking of Indian dishes, as part of a two-day celebration of the new year.
The event will take place at the Lal Bahadur Vihar in the Indian capital, New Delhi.
“We are excited to bring this great culinary event to the Indian community, and we hope that this will be a catalyst for children to celebrate the New Year,” said Pandey.
“The New Year celebrations will be accompanied by a special performance by India’s famous musician Bishan Bedi.
Bedi will also be performing his latest music album ‘The New Moon Rising.’
This will be an amazing experience for everyone.”
The “New Moon Rising” album features the music of the artist Bishankar, a musician who was born in the U.K. and became an acclaimed producer of dance and electronic music, who released his first album, “The New Soul,” in 2015.
The New Lunar New Years Day event is part of an effort to provide children and their families with a new start to the year and a new sense of purpose in 2019, according to Pandey and the organizers of the event.
The events are part of The New Moon Foundation’s (NMBF) campaign, “India is Beautiful,” which seeks to help children and young people build a positive future through learning about their country, as the foundation promotes literacy, civic participation and the development of youth.
